The 2025 Kia Seltos proves that compact doesn’t mean cramped, offering one of the most spacious cabins in its class with a smart design that maximizes every inch. The compact SUV’s unique five-spoke wheels, adventurous spirit, and classy appearance ensure it stands out on any road.

Mechanical Features

This year’s Seltos lineup features five premium trim options, from the base-model LX to the top-trim SX. The first three trims come with a two-liter inline four-cylinder engine producing 132 lb-ft of torque and 146 horsepower, while the top two trims include a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine with 195 lb-ft of torque and 195 horsepower. The Seltos LX, S, and EX feature an intelligent variable transmission, while the X-Line and SX boast an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The LX, X-Line, and SX trims offer standard all-wheel drive with torque vectoring and a center-locking differential, equipping the newest Seltos to deftly handle everything from tight corners to rocky terrain. Front-wheel drive comes standard on the S and EX trims, with the option to upgrade to torque-vectoring AWD. Both the independent MacPherson strut front suspension and the independent multi-link rear suspension include stabilizer bars, while the front suspension also features coil springs.

A Look at the Interior

The lineup’s base model comes with a six-way manually adjustable driver’s seat, a four-way manually adjustable front passenger seat, and a 60/40-split rear bench seat, offering space for five occupants to relax on cozy woven-cloth upholstery. Models like the X-Line, EX, and SX upgrade the cabin with heated front seats, power-adjustable seat settings for the driver, and either full SynTex upholstery or a combination of SynTex and cloth.

Convenience Amenities

Exterior

The LX trim has power-adjustable exterior mirrors, while the other four Seltos models add heating functions and integrated turn-signal indicators. The lineup’s shark-fin roof antenna adds personality as well as improved aerodynamics, as does the standard rear spoiler. The base model’s exterior lighting system consists of projector-beam main headlights, environment-sensing Auto Headlight Control, and High Beam Assist. Starting with the second trim, each Seltos adds fog lights and LED daytime running lights to its lighting system.

Interior

While the first trim offers remote keyless entry as a standard feature, the other trims in the lineup upgrade to the Smart Key entry system for even easier access. Inside the Seltos base model, you’ll find an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 4.2-inch digital instrument cluster, and a six-speaker audio system with smartphone connectivity via Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth.
