Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2024 Kia EV6 offers eight trims: Light RWD, Light Long Range RWD, Light Long Range AWD, Wind RWD, Wind AWD, GT-line RWD, GT-line AWD, and GT AWD. The Light and Wind trims feature 19-inch alloy wheels, while the GT-Line upgrades to 20-inch alloys. The GT trim stands out with 21-inch alloy wheels with neon accents. LED headlights and taillights come standard. The GT-Line and GT models add a panoramic sunroof and power-folding mirrors. The GT model incorporates larger front air intakes, modified side sills, and a unique front bumper design.
Engine (Power)
The EV6 offers multiple powertrain options. The Light trim uses a 58.0 kWh battery with a 167 hp rear-mounted motor. Wind RWD models utilize a 77.4 kWh battery producing 225 hp. Wind AWD and GT-Line AWD versions combine the 77.4 kWh battery with dual motors for 320 hp. The GT model harnesses the 77.4 kWh battery with dual motors to generate 576 hp and 545 lb-ft of torque. All models feature an 800V electrical architecture enabling ultra-fast charging. RWD models produce 258 lb-ft of torque, while AWD versions (except GT) deliver 446 lb-ft.
Performance
The EV6 GT reaches 60 mph in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 161 mph. Wind AWD and GT-Line AWD models hit 60 mph in 4.6 seconds, reaching 117 mph. Light and Wind RWD versions complete the 0-60 mph sprint in 7.2 seconds with a top speed of 115 mph. The Wind RWD achieves 310 miles per charge, while the Light trim gets 206 miles. All models maintain 6.1 inches of ground clearance and can tow 2,300 pounds when properly equipped. Drivers can select between Eco, Normal, Sport, and Custom modes, with the GT adding an electronic limited-slip differential.
Interior
The EV6 features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster paired with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display. Passenger volume ranges from 103.0 to 103.8 cubic feet, with 24.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, expanding to 50.2 cubic feet with the 60/40 split-folding rear seats down. Front passengers enjoy 42.4 inches of legroom, while rear passengers get 39.0 to 39.6 inches. Wind, GT-Line, and GT trims add heated and ventilated front seats. The GT includes sport bucket seats with GT embroidery. GT-Line and GT trims feature an Augmented Reality Head-Up Display and Meridian Audio System with 14 speakers.
Safety Features
Standard safety features include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Safe Exit Assist, and Lane Keeping Assist System. Wind, GT-Line, and GT trims add Highway Driving Assist 2 and Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist. GT-Line and GT models include Remote Smart Parking Assist and Surround View Monitor. All models have seven airbags with a driver knee airbag, Electronic Stability Control, 4-wheel Anti-Lock Braking System, Hill-Assist Control, Driver Attention Warning, Rear Occupant Alert System, and Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
