Back in 2012, Sunset customers wanted the piece of mind of knowing they had major engine repair protection beyond the factory warranty and extended service contracts with expiration dates.

The Result: Sunset introduced “Warranty Protection for Life”. Some 13 years later, Sunset has paid out over $7,000,000 in claims on behalf of our customers.
Recently, we were asked about being able to come to the Sunset dealerships just to look around, test drive some vehicles, or maybe get some questions answered like “What is my trade worth?” or “What kind of financing packages do we qualify for?”, without the assistance of salespeople. It seems dealerships are either closed on Sundays or it is “Business as usual”. Some of you told us that you want a different shopping experience.

Now every Sunday, feel free to browse around all you would like at any Sunset Auto Family dealership… without all those “pesky salespeople” (that’s what you called them). At the dealership.
Oh sure, Sunset will have sales managers and finance managers on hand to be able to get you very specific information…but only if you ask for something. There will also be some “Product Specialists” there to answer any questions you may have about any vehicle in stock.
Can you still drive home a new (or new to you) automobile on a Sunday? Absolutely! But the day is really dedicated to those who are just looking for information. We are giving much of our staff more Sundays off to be with their friends and family.
