What is the Kia Maintenance Schedule?

While the Kia maintenance schedule can differ a bit based on the vehicle you have, you will notice that the recommended service intervals are somewhat similar throughout the lineup. Below is a good general guideline for many models in the Kia lineup:

  • 7,500 miles: The climate control air filter will be replaced and the following will be inspected: vacuum hose, battery, brake lines, brake pads and discs, steering gear rack, drive shaft, suspension ball joints, air conditioning, and the exhaust system.
  • 15,000 miles: The same tasks listed above should also be performed at this interval. In addition, you should also have the drive shaft and boots, vapor hose and fuel filter cap, fuel tank air filter, parking brake, and brake fluid inspected.
  • 22,500 miles: When your Kia hits 22,500 miles, it will require the same services that it did at 7,500 miles.
  • 30,000 miles: Perform the same services that you did at 15,000 miles, plus inspect the cooling system, manual transmission fluid, fuel lines, hoses, and connectors.
  • 37,500 miles: When you reach this interval, you should repeat the same services at 22,500 miles.
  • 45,000 miles: The services provided here are the same as those performed at 15,000 miles.
